L&C’s founder David Ford will be working with EFM to provide the dedicated capacity necessary to develop high-quality carbon projects across EFM’s portfolio. David’s leadership and technical expertise will support continued innovation and policy development at both firms and continue to raise the bar for the forest carbon sector. EFM’s investment platform and portfolio of over 150,000 acres in the Western U.S. will allow both firms to learn and explore new opportunities in biochar markets, reforestation, and improved forest management among other natural climate solutions.

This strategic partnership is the culmination of an existing 2 year working relationship that has resulted in the successful implementation of one of the first ACR IFM projects in the state of California that recently issued over 100,000 credits in its first reporting period.
