Natural Climate Solutions (NCS) are actions taken to restore, protect, or improve management of natural ecosystem or working lands that increase carbon storage and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. It’s estimated that NCS can remove 1.2 gigatons of carbon annually by 2025. 91% of these removals are available at $100/ton or less.
